How to listen to YouTube in Apple Podcasts
Apple Podcasts can't play YouTube directly, but it can follow podcast RSS feeds. Convert the channel to RSS, then follow the feed in Apple Podcasts. If you're converting BiliBili, the steps are identical once you have an RSS URL.

Overview
The pattern is simple: YouTube (or BiliBili) source → private RSS feed → Apple Podcasts follows the RSS URL.
Once followed, you can download episodes and listen in the background like any other podcast.
Step 1: Create a private RSS feed
Add the YouTube channel or playlist (BiliBili works too), then copy the generated RSS URL.
If you only want long-form episodes, add a duration filter to keep your feed focused.
Step 2: Follow the RSS URL in Apple Podcasts
In Apple Podcasts, look for “Follow a Show by URL” and paste the RSS link.
If you can't find “Follow by URL”
Apple Podcasts UI changes over time, but these fixes usually work.
- Try the Library tab and search for “Follow a Show by URL”
- Update iOS/macOS and restart the app
- If the option is missing, use a different podcast app that supports RSS-by-URL
Keep it tidy
Apple Podcasts works best when the feed is clean and predictable.
- Exclude shorts
- Exclude off-topic keywords
- Use a minimum duration
Try PigeonPod
Convert a channel once, then let auto-sync keep your podcast queue updated.
