Copyright Policy

This page explains how PigeonPod handles third-party content, restricted access to converted outputs, and copyright complaints.

Respect for creators and rights holders

We respect the rights of creators, publishers, and platforms. PigeonPod should not be used to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, and we review rights-holder concerns in good faith.

How the service processes content

PigeonPod processes supported public source links only at the direction of individual users.

No public redistribution

We do not operate a public library, public index, or public listening page for third-party source content processed through the service. Converted outputs are intended to be accessible only to the requesting user, or other users explicitly authorized within the product, through account-level access controls.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of third-party content complies with applicable law, the rights of the relevant creators or publishers, and the terms or policies of the source platform.

Friendly communication first

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that material processed through PigeonPod affects your rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We welcome direct, good-faith communication and will review the issue before it needs to escalate further.

What to include in a complaint

To help us review a complaint quickly, please include your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, the source URL or other information that lets us locate the relevant material, and a short explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized.

How we may respond

After review, we may remove, disable, or restrict access to the relevant output, feed, account, or source configuration. We may also request additional information, preserve records needed for investigation, and take other reasonable steps required for platform security, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Repeat abuse

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, feeds, or source access associated with repeated infringement claims, abusive complaints, or other misuse of the service.
